Nancy et Lorraine Cordier

Nancy Bignon-Cordier and her sister Lorraine represent the 4th generation of Cordier at the head of Château Talbot, grand cru classé de Saint-julien.

They try to express the purest expression of this ‘grand terroir’ by a more and more precise work as well at the vineyard as in the 'chai'. An approach made by many details, enrichened by the gestures from the previous generations and from the deep complicity which unites the earth to it’s ancestors.

Wine making and maturing modes adapted to each style of grape : wooden vats and stain less steel vats. Preference for the wooden vats whose truncated, cone-shaped wooden walls and their isothermal properties provide the grapes excellent conditions for fermentation and maceration.
