It was in 2003 that I took over le Château Saincrit, a vine-growing property existing for 4 generations :

To take over a vine-yard is a difficult choice because we cannot deny its past and the manner in which it had been toiled and improved over the years :

There is a time  in which one 
must observe 
the rythms of the seasons…
not unlike a marriage of sorts.

The vineyard is situated in St André de Cubzac, north of the Gironde, directly upon the 45th parallel, this invisible line splits the hemisphere in two equal parts and expresses the balance that one feels here. On the Montalon hillside, the vineyards overlook the meandering Dordogne.
