Armelle FALCY CRUSE

The 6th generation in the CRUSE Family, Armelle is œnologist. Since 2000 she manages the Château du Taillan, "Cru Bourgeois Supérieur" in the Haut Medoc.

Armelle is passionate about this magnificent domain, which includes an 18th century château srrounded by 100 hectares of wooded parkland and cellars classified as National Heritage Site (Monuments Historiques).
  

The Château du Taillan has  30 hectares of red  grape varietals that produce about 100 000 bottles of Cru Bourgeois.

In 2003 the wine of this Château were awarded the pretigious classification of "Crus Bourgeois Supérieur", and Gold Medal in the "Concours de Bordeaux Vins d’Aquitaine".
The Château du Taillan 2005 has been selected amongs the 50 most affordable Bordeaux Wine in Canada and in the USA.

60% Merlot
20% Cabernet Franc
20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Armelle belongs to the "Médocaines", association promoting œnotourism in the Médoc.
